Idk, I just have the philosophy that if you are a commercial artist (like Stromae), you should be as big as you can possibly be and sing in English. The English speaking world (particularly US) is still the the global music scene's tastemaker and there's a reason it's the goal for so many people...he's already slowly making waves in this part of the world anyway (he performed on late night television earlier this year). He should follow the Shakira model and not really change his sound all that much and still record in French...a bilingual album with 8-9 English tracks and 3-4 French tracks (including French versions of the singles) would work really well.
He's just so good and such a dynamic performer that it would just be a shame to not see him be as huge as he can be and conquer the world.
