B'Day is an expression of raw energy and emotion, southern grit and attitude - vocally and sonically(so cohesive, ugh queen). The production is amazing and uncompromising... it's like a hip-hop-infused amalgam of hard funk and organic soul, but expressed in a modern context. It's also such a greatly entertaining listening experience.. I just love it. It's a brilliant album, her best actually. It's a masterpiece.

Do not get me wrong, it is also subjectively bad (in my opinion). However, there are some songs that are just objectively bad. Look at Rebecca Black's Friday for example. That is objectively bad. So is B'Day; It has no maturity, sophistication or artistic vision at all.

Yes, I stan for rihanna which is why I would know about sophistication. Stay contains is more sophisticated than anything Beyonce has ever released. So are Russian Roulette and most of the songs on Rated R. Not to mention that I stan for Ultraviolence which is basically the incarnation of sophistication.

B'Day is a horrible album, the only bad Bey album to date. All of them are masterpieces, except for B'Day. It was just bad, there's no way to defend it
