Probably because AATB was exposed to an audience it usually isn't exposed to, so it had a significant boost. CMA's always have crazy boosts though

She should've gone to the CMAs and performed a country remix or This Love. I'm sure she was invited but she probably refused to not ruin her new brand. Her 2nd week drop would've been less steep and she would still be #1 on iTunes.

It was wise for Taylor not to do the CMAs. People would've accused her of still trying to pander for sales from the country audience despite her announcement of not doing so with 1989.

That would have made sense, since very few artists these days are brave enough to send a sixth single to the same format, and tonight would have been a great night to introduce "I See You" to everyone, since it just went for adds this weeks. Did he perform "Play It Again"? That song is so close to double-platinum at around 1.86 million, but its rate has slowed to a trickle. I would love for that song to get a big boost tonight to get it over that mark!
