I didn't realize Applause was probably her best song until I looked at my iTunes. It has almost triple the plays of BR

Applause is just easier and more enjoyable to listen to over and over. The only thing BR has going for it is the nostalgia factor behind it.

I prefer Applause now compared to when it premiered. By September of 2013 I though Applause was so generic.

Then I heard a certain other female popstar single released around the same time and was reminded that Applause could have been more generic.

I wish they had just released an HQ version of the arrangement the used on The Voice... the studio version we received just seemed like they tried to make it too polished.
