Let me dissect this piece by piece. Women's birth rights are protected by a Supreme court case so BYE. Where in the constitution does it state companies have to pay for birth control? No where so that argument is done. Next, besides Gay marriage and general discrimination that has nothing to do with the party, gays are not oppressed in everyday society. Immigration reform is completely ludicrous as people who are coming into this country ILLEGALLY should not have the same rights as those who spend years legally trying to get citizenship. and lastly helping the poor are you nuts? What do you thinks going to happen to them? Republicans are just going to let them die in the streets? No. The poor will receive the same care they have been receiving for decades. There are obviously pros and cons to economic models supported by both sides, but to say that Republicans care more about the lower class and use "capitalism" to support your argument shows some incredible delusion. Capitalism is a system designed to make the rich even richer while the common workers are underpaid and undervalued. The small business argument is one method of misdirection that people may cling to as a way to downplay the inequalities inherent in a capitalistic framework, but it's still capitalism, still flawed, and at the end of the day the common lower class worker is still a victim of bourgeois ideology (which ALL politicians benefit from).

It has nothing to do with Republicans/Democrats, but capitalism in its current form is so badly flawed that to use it in this thread to support your side seems quite misguided. When both sides support a flawed economic system it's easy to look at other areas of contention, which is why people talk about social issues so often.
