Why Only Taylor Swift Could Leave Spotify

http://time.com/3556721/taylor-swift-spotify-1989/

I like the comparison at the end between Beatles and Taylor Swift

[AlienTing]

I kinda hope the final sales will be lower than what HDD said. 3K HURTS.

[Final Hour]

No salt over 3k? I would have expected more meltdowns

[castle13]

Taylor didn't postpone her trip to Japan for this.
Those tweets.

I don't think it will be lower if not higher, because this is not forecast anymore. I agree that 3K hurts though.

I think the music industry and the charts should encourage sales and making musicians richer, that's a common sense for me, if they want a positive circumstances, in which musicians can easily survive and create more good music, isn't that everybody's goal? Including music industry, musicians and fans who can enjoy more great music.

I don't think 3k hurts. Now 1k maybe.

That's exactly what I thought when I wrote my previous post.

Edit: But it also means not controversy behind this sales number though.

Think about this: this is Taylor's first POP album, which debuts even higher than her COUNTRY album when people worry about her change. What if she change to ROCK next album? So she has more goals to achieve, I think.

I'm sure you guys already realized that these were a whole picture:

Joni Mitchell has this amazing quote, ‘They’ll crucify me if I change and they’ll crucify me if I stay the same, so I’m going to change because it’s more fun.’ —Taylor Swift (via breakmelikeapromise)

Still can NOT get over the laughter during the songwriting voice memo

[Hunter_13]

People seriously trying to drag her sales.

OUT OF THE WOODS is one of my favorites on 1989, one of the reasons is that it makes me thinking about her future music, her vocals are so deep and strong, I hope she had these vocals during "CHANGE" which was really good but would be much better with her current vocals

Edit: And LOVE STORY iHeartRadio Festival remix

Edit2: They are the reasons why I emphasized the speakers at 1989 world tour nowadays, those SOUND

Edit3: Jack Antonoff really did a good job on 1989 I'm listening to them right now.

I remember when T-BOZ of TLC said in Rolling Stone they wanted Taylor to write a song for them. When I hear the deep parts in "Bad Blood" it reminds me of T-Boz vocals.

I always have a feeling that Taylor's future is ROCK before that she's just PRACTICING
