there were far better albums this year, by artists who are not huge superstars, but we never take the time to notice them because they dont harass us with promo and try and break sales records, they are ARTISTS who make quality MUSIC... do some research kiddies!!

Music quality doesn't have anything to do with success, but they can belong together perfectly. 1989 is a piece of art, some people are just excited that we could have been part of an historical moment with this album. Music not the bling, stop the drama, enjoy de music. #1989POP

Well maybe that's your opinion.
But Taylor is an ARTIST who makes quality MUSIC, and the critics agree. In my opinion, one of the best releases of the year.
