i guess this is a big deal, but i think brit's record is more impressive cuz its back in the era of people not acting a damn fool and buying more than 1 copy of an album.... obviously now people don't buy albums as much in general, but if all the people who bought it only bought it once, it would likely be lower. just sayin!

are you really implying that it's more impressive to sell 1.3million copies of an album in 2000 than it is now in 2014?

No this is more impressive. No other album has sold 1M this year, and sales are the PITS.
Britney came from a big debut, and one of the biggest pop singles ever. Both are deserved.
