You Are In Love would sound great with the rest of the album, it's the lyrics that don't work. They just don't fit the overall story of 1989! So it totally makes sense that she left it off the main album.

Random thought: What if Taylor DIDN'T know her entire discography apart from 1989 was on Spotify? What if she was in a meeting with label heads recently and they were discussing when to put 1989 on there, and someone bought up her other albums were on there, and she was like WTF NO GET RID OF THEM IMMEDIATELY. Do you think that is possible that she didn't know?

That's what my lovies No Doubt did They released their greatest hits CD, but they also released a box set containing the GH + a whole album of unreleased songs + remixes + a DVD with all their videos + a tour DVD. A special collection like that from Lord would be so magical

I dont think we are getting a 1989 Tour DVD. Didnt she say she doesnt like them because it takes away that feeling you get when you are in a concert, and plus takes a lot of money to make? I think she also said that the only way it would be profitable to make one would be putting it on Cinemas, but it would be too tacky and that it would be like abusing of your fans and taking their money shamelessly?

okay so andrea answered this in two ways.
1) she said that to properly film a tour, there are cameras swooping everywhere, and with how technical it gets, it becomes more about the filming, and takes away from the audience experience. and taylor didn't like the idea of taking away from any one audience just to film something, because it's not fair to that crowd.
2) filming for a tour dvd could cost up to the millions when you take into consideration production and post production and distribution, so they had to weigh out if it's worth it. because the only real way for that to be viable these days is if a tv network like NBC or HBO film it for you, and pay you millions to air it. otherwise, the only other option is to have a cinema release, where you guarantee financial return, and that's not what taylor wants for her audience. she wants them to see it live, and not go to the cinema and lose that live interaction. and that that just seems like a money making ploy
