She (or the surrogate) had the baby because the era was going nowhere. It was her excuse to bow out gracefully. Like she would EVER get pregnant in the middle of an era.

Eh. I was sure ARTPOP was going to be Gags's return to the top but after seeing how that did (and listening to it), I do doubt her ability to stage a comeback.

She can't really even pull a Miley at this point and devolve into a bunch of annoying histrionics to get people talking about her again because that was her starting point. Her only real hope at this point is to actually deliver, musically. I'm just not sure she has that in her anymore.
