I think what many of us forget is that Taylor sells off of her name/insane fanbase alone. She could've released a single in another language and her first-week sales would be exactly the same

What'll be interesting to see is how much longevity this album has compared to RED. I feel like RED's singles appealed to a wider audience but the iTunes buyers clearly disagrees with me

I think we discovered it quite a while during the release of BEYONCE that the updates of HDD are quite random. Like sometimes it doesn't make sense because in one update some albums may have iTunes sales while others may not. I think they just give numbers that will give more suspense and get them the most clicks really
