I can follow
All your commands
But there will be no talk of
Adding you to my plan
I'll keep you connected
Long as you understand
That's how we should keep it
Mr. Telephone Man
I loooove Phonography <3333
But that won't happen'!

I'm still disappointed Something More ended up being not a Britney track, it was really good.
It could have being the ballad single from Circus, it's great and unique, just what she needs.
I still listen to the demo versin .

It's not breaking a rule, Mariah did it."Don't Forget About Us."
As much as I love Phonography, I think it will flop. There is no video that fits it IMO.

Unusual You is not really a ballad and I always loved Out From Under but people in here complained about it, so I just listen to Something More and thought it could have been a great single.
Beside, if you were here more than once a year you would know I always supported Out From Under, so you should .

Well, "Circus" is bouncing back on Mediabase...it has the 3rd biggest bullet, under Beyawnsei and Kanye West...I really hope it goes top 10 within the next 2 weeks
and the single topic, well....since Out from under is SO gonna be the 3rd single, I agree with a lot of you guys, it would be great for her to release lots of singles and "pull a Rihanna"...but these songs HAVE to be singles from the "Circus" era:
- Kill the Lights
- If U Seek Amy
- Shattered Glass
- Unusual You
and that does it

I mean Jive should break a rule with Britney.
I think Phonography is a Europe smash, not sure about US.

I totally agree on this with you
you and I left alone cannot be trusted, there's a lust we can't control
Trouble and Quicksand are my favorite b-sides from this era

It's official. Britney WON'T be on the NRJ Awards.
I'm starting to believe that she's not promoting at all...I bet she made Jive release the album, under one condition: Britney not promoting, tv appearances, etc....just the tour
and it's ok, she still needs her space...it's not like it was 10 years ago when se had her last meltdown, it was last year....so, lets all be happy she released a new album, had #1 Womanizer, #3 Circus, and that we are getting a tour....and we'll see what happens....we need to let britney surprise us

She did 6 performances and did the Ellen thing, and she will be doing on tour. I think for Britney right now, thats alot. Plus she probably will do some more promo down the road.
Hello, i dont think people realize she was to a point where she couldve died less than a year ago...i wouldnt push britney into anything....give her time...her fans are so greedy.

HELLO, you should read the whole page...yes, we were still on the performances thing, but then we said it was ok, it's still hard for her
God, you are always trying to be a Britney Smart Ass....LOL just kidding
I know, you're right, she did a great job during those performances and she's been kicking ass even with that small promotion...still I can't wait for her to hit both the stage and the road again

People complaining that she needs to promote are being the whiny bitches ya'll where being during Blackout when you knew she had personal issues. Even now she still has some inner issues. I believe she still lacks the full fledge confidence she had prior to "dare I say his name". That's why her performances seem like "better" than VMAs, when they should be "OMFG MUCH MUCH BETTER" than the VMAs. She's not completely ready to be in front of random crowds of people like before.
That's why the tour should be amazing. She's in front of her fans that she knows want to see her, and she doesn't have to worry about the whole world seeing the show and criticizing her based on the 2007 Performance, instead of improvement.
Edward...saying she "made" Jive release the album, what the hell? I'm pretty sure out of anybody Britney would rather be focusing controlling her own life and getting Sean & Jayden back, before venturing back into a career. You should be saying it the other way around of JIVE taking the fact that she has been perceived more positively, using that as an advantage + a hot ass album to get some more money. Just like they took advantage of her name + hot album last year to get some money.
She's done PLENTY of promotion. Sure, 90% of it has been internationally, but that's because, I believe, outside the US there is still a want for albums. While in the US, they see that the primary want is the singles, and the fact that her name can sell her album is a side factor. Besides, how many artists do you see doing bunches of promo these days? Madonna, Usher, Mariah, a lot of other big names barely did promo for their album outside the area of the initial release, then they went on to tour. Britney's not some puppet like Rihanna who needs to be out there 24/7. The fans on this site are so greedy and disgusting, it's sickening.
I'm happy with what she has done, and I know that I'll be seeing an amazing show on March 5th, plus great videos, and a healthy Idol in the next few months. <333
