People discredit Rihanna too much and downplay her achievements all the time. Sure, producers/writers/her team are responsible for a part of her success; I mean, no artist can accomplish everything by themselves, they need a team behind them. I assume those people are not in the industry themselves and just like to talk without knowing how the full system works. I don't know how the industry works 100% either nor do I claim to but I can tell that some arguments are SMH-worthy lmao.

let's not act as if the industry doesn't try to offer new girls the same opportunities she got... she just knew what to do with them and knew how to succeed. if making a popstar was easy then we wouldn't have so many flops.

i mean, the girl took NO breaks for seven years. i look at some of these new girls and think they don't want it badly enough. long-ass breaks when you're barely established? hell no. rih would never.

I do for the most part like I hardly post on here mostly just lurk but the ignorance in that thread needed to be addressed.

Am I the only one excited to see what she'll be for Halloween. Her 2012 costume was the best so far
