The bassist was the most passionate but they all performed at benefit concerts for organizations that told HIV positive mothers not to take ARVs or other methods that might prevent transmission to children.
The woman that got them into that "activism" has since died of AIDS, as has her 3 year old child who she breastfed, one of the most common ways to transmit HIV to newborns.
