Yeah, as if Donatella and MANiCURE are of higher quality/deeper.
If she goes trashy she may as well go generic really. If those 2 weren't on ARTPOP you'd have a point.
Anyway, people in here need to realize that not everyone who dislikes ARTPOP does so because of its' sales. I listen to it daily but it feels like a guilty pleasure kind of album to me. It lacks soul, wit and her vocals on many songs are horrible (Gypsy, Fashion, Swine, Aura verses, Dope, MANiCURE).
1989 is amazing. I can't say it's better than ARTPOP cuz I love ARTPOP, but it's not worse either.
Out of the woods, Blank Space, Wildest Dreams, Welcome to New York etc. amazing songs. I can't believe I am listening to Taylor Swift and enjoying ha so much, for real... The album is great !

Yeah Shake it off is a bad example you are right.
But yeah that was my main point, Gaga couldn't sing an album like 1989, its not her style at all.
