It's a multitude of things really.
1. She is lazy sometimes.
2. Her nerves are horrible.
3. MOST important, her biggest songs are built where she is belting for at least a solid minute. That just isn't healthy when a song is only three minutes long. The irony in it all is her voice type isn't well suited for big choruses, and mid-belts. Yet that's exactly what half her discography is.
I'll forever wait for her acoustic/Christmas record. Katy can sing, she just needs to reassure herself along with the public of that. And songs like Roar and Firework are not gonna cut it.
