Yeah I consider the eye color surgery self hate. For several reasons including not only is it unsafe/illegal but she will go blind or have extremely damaged vision forever.

Tiny's entire life story is the definition of when being biracial isn't enough, pretty sad tbh

Yeh. It's all self hate. But the rationale for each decision is different.

Blue eyes are generally associated with white/European ancestry so yeah, I don't think you can equate that with a boob job. I kinda love her, but Tiny is just a dumb bird

Exactly. If it can't be done in the USA, then it's not getting done. I don't care if it's in Asia, Africa, Europe, South America... I'm not getting any surgery that the US refuses to do.

I have a problem. I textured my hair a few months back. I did felt a lil guilty so I shaved it all off. But it didn't return as it was before

I never realized I had natural curls. Putting chemicals in my hair made me scared and put me in the habit of taking care of it better. The only reason I didn't have curls before was because it was dry af

I miss having a box cut, but having curls means less shape ups and less money. I don't know what to do

Not really I consider it self hating when you are goign under the knife numerous times. Like I read somewhere she had boob, ass implants, a nose job now this. It's like where does she stop?? And how can she tell her daughter to love herself when she would blind herself in the name of reaching this unrealistic beauty standard. I see more surgery in tiny's future so that's why I consider it self hate

Good point, true.
But on the flip side slimmer noses are also associated with European ancestry, and fuller lips, African ancestry and people resort to getting surgeries of both kind. That was my reasoning for asking if other surgeries were self-hate as well.

But I do see why people are saying self-hate though.

I think green, blue etc. eyes on black people looks cool because of the contrast in color, but I love brown eyes on us just the same... There's been a few times where I've told someone they have pretty eyes, and somebody else has responded "but their eyes are just brown."

I don't know why people keep implying afro hair is that way due to it being dry or not washed lately. My hair is nappy Af regardless. I do wanna get an s-scurl now but I haven't cut my hair in 10 months so I have a lot, curious how it'd look.
