I feel like all of Nicki's era's consist of her trying to cover her tracks at the last minute Like everything she releases is a result of the previous release or mistake and they're all so last minute.
If she starts out with an Urban song and it flops - she immediately releases something on the complete opposite end of the spectrum.
If she stars out with a Pop song and it flops - she immediately digs down into her super Urban hood records.
It seems so unauthentic. I wonder if the albums even have direction from the beginning of the era because it seems like she bases them on whatever sticks.
This has been my problem with her even since her feature heyday stopped.
She needs a good creative partner to guide her to create something cohesive that she is confident in and will stick to.
