Yeah, I go to university classes and I've taken everything from 101 through/including 201 now. Self teaching is a bit weird for me since I'm not totally aware of academic resources compatible with my feedback heavy style of learning...so mostly I just try immersion since it's fool proof. But I've been considering campus groups or even working at a Korean restaurant nearby. I want to study abroad next year so my approach might be different than everyone else's, like...I want to be functional and able to work well on my feet with it.
Talktomeinkorean is good though, and it is possible to learn from the Klear textbooks without a teacher if you're really committed. That's the ones we use in class - downside is the workbook has no answer key though.
