Okay so I may have dreamt this, but I could swear that during either TBE or IAWT(most likely TBE), at one of the dates Beyoncé did a Fela Kuti cover or included some elements of a Fela Kuti song during one of the performances. I've been trying to find the video forever but I'm starting to believe I made it up. Can anyone help me out?

The BEYONCE era has been so underwhelming performance-wise. That's a combination between the extreme lack of promo and the fact that I just don't like the way she performs majority of the "BEYONCE" songs. I miss the days where she'd perform, also a special would be nice (Ala "A night with Beyonce") This era I just feel like there was a big disconnection between her and the fans. I hope she gets over this "I have left nothing to prove" attitude and goes hard for album 6 like she did during B'day and IASF, or better yet, rerelease Beyonce and go hard for that.

Nonetheless I am extremely grateful for the VMA performance (I watch it all the time) and I am excited to see what she does at the Grammys.

The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour was phenomenal, if they had only toned down the editing and gave some gritty, real, of-the-moment recordings like The Beyoncé Experience it would have slayed. But what they gave us was messy, overly glossy and insincere. The only one that truly wow-ed was Run the World, the rest were good to boring. Also the format - presenting only one at a time - gave it all a very halted feeling and I never really felt quenched.

They should have removed:
Ghost/Haunted (it just doesn't translate well live, or they didn't stage it right for maximum effect)
Get Me Bodied/Baby Boy/Diva (Unnecessary)
Heaven (boring)

And added:
Why Don't You Love Me (it showcases her amazing soul singing)
Crazy in Love/Single Ladies (it's epic)
Grown Woman (it's novel)

X10 still slays me. I watch it regularly and I made some of my friends who are casual Bey fans watch it and they were slain too. But yes, a proper DVD would be better.

Ghost/Haunted: I love it and the contemporary dance number before Bey comes on is stunning.
GMB: I agree with you.
Heaven: The performance was amazing, raw and honest and wasn't over edited. When Bey chocks on her words because shea crying too hard it's probably the one of the best performances from X10

I just feel that Ghost/Haunted needs a bit more performance from Beyoncé, or better lighting so you can see what was going on and none of that awful post-production that made it all muddy.

For Heaven, it was a beautiful performance, I guess I'm just used to seeing powerhouse ballads from her, I jut felt it lacked a great climax. I get it's a slow-burner song but live she could have at least tore it down a little.

I loved some of the performances on x10.

I loved RTW, ***Flawless and Heaven and I sorta like Blow and Haunted. The rest was just meh.

I need the Antwerp date to come out on DVD.

This is the gem of all gems! I remember I had just started getting into Fela right before this came out and I went crazy when I first saw it. Beyoncé's a beast of an unknown world.
