Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar" spends hundreds of millions to take the audience on a journey to the farthest parts of the cosmos ... so they can be told sentiments as close, and as cheap, as any of the offerings at your local Hallmark card retailer. [D]
How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year
Running over the same old ground
What have we found
The same old fears
Wish you were here
Get up out my face like who d'you think you are
Talking all this trash like blah-de-blah-de-blah
(Oh eh oh) na ha (oh eh oh) na ha (oh eh oh)
Get up out my face like who d'you think you are
Made me wanna laugh like har-de-har-de-har
(Oh eh oh) na ha (oh eh oh) na ha
Interstellar is the Les Miserables of this awards season, genuinely wonderful but split by critics. We've known this sense two nights ago when either Pete Hammond or Kris Tapley said that a lot of people loved it and a lot of people hated it and to expect raves and pans.
Get up out my face like who d'you think you are
Talking all this trash like blah-de-blah-de-blah
(Oh eh oh) na ha (oh eh oh) na ha (oh eh oh)
Get up out my face like who d'you think you are
Made me wanna laugh like har-de-har-de-har
(Oh eh oh) na ha (oh eh oh) na ha
They take their shots, but we're bulletproof
I know places
And you know for me, it's always you
I know places
In the dead of night, your eyes so green
I know places
And I know for you, it's always me
I know places
How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year
Running over the same old ground
What have we found
The same old fears
Wish you were here
You're too proud to say that you made a mistake
you're a coward til the end
I don't want to admit
that were not gonna fit
no I'm not the type that you like
WHY DONT WE JUST PRETEND
LIEEESSSSSS
