What?! I'm from Israel and even for me it's shocking
This is honestly so strange to me..are you sure this source is reliable?
I read it on a few reputable Dutch sites a few hours ago... but dutch media says the buses will become israelian-only to make the israelians in illegally conquered land safer and palestinians will have to find a different way to go to Israel than by bus.
During the building of the Panama canal they segregated according to how you were paid. People paid in gold got perks, those in silver were marginalized. SHOCKER the whites were paid in gold, blacks in silver.
Racism is racism is racism.... trying to write it off on details is just ignorant. Whether you are discriminating based on nationality, religion, or race, it is all equally wrong.
Ok I have a better understanding now that I've read the actual article and not just the headline (probably like most of you guys), this is not a racism, the separation is only on a certain bus line that have been very active with violence and teasing so this is better for both sides.
