I don't understand how someone could actually stan for Katy Perry. She has NOTHING to bring to the table other than a few good pop tracks here and there, but that still isn't stan-worthy.
There must be something stan-worthy since you started bandwagoning Taylor after she released the remake of the second half of Prism.

NWtS did 658K, but honestly, I think his #s will be down. His rep has been damaged since that album (people calling him a fake + not taking him seriously), overall sales have gone down, & NWtS wasn't as successful as TC.
"Welcome To New York" is terrible and is the worst song on the album. Even Taylor Swift knows it, that's why it's the first track, to "get it out of the way." She must have either been obligated or felt obligated to put that awful track on "1989" for whatever reason, probably sentimental or because she recorded it with friends or something saccharine like that.

Taylor is not that different from Katy anymore, though. They're fitting a very similar musical niche now, with the main difference being Taylor's pre-1989 history as a country artist with a much more devoted following.
Taylor is such a force. I've never liked her outside of her singles, but I'm not the target demo obvs. Plenty of my friends of all races, incomes, etc. STAN for her. The majority of her fanbase are stans, not a casual fan in sight. It's insane
