Taylor worked the angsty white girl who just likes cute boys angle so perfectly. Like she just seemed really raw and genuine. And her songs were relatable. She didn't seem to take herself too seriously. That got lost with Red.
Listening 1989 for the first time rn. She is trying way to hard to sound like Katy on some songs, wtf.
YES, IT'S ANNOYING first she acted obsessed with cat's channeling Katy, now she took 'Love Me' and 'This Moment' instrumental demos and make a whole album...

@ the 1989 vocal showcase listen it once, it was cute while i was cleaning the bathroom
I don't understand how someone could actually stan for Katy Perry. She has NOTHING to bring to the table other than a few good pop tracks here and there, but that still isn't stan-worthy.
I could get the hate for Clean, This Love or You R In Love because they are kinda boring & non-eventful, but aside from that everything is from good to perfect.

Welcome To New York is def one of the worst on her album.
"Welcome To New York" is terrible and is the worst song on the album. Even Taylor Swift knows it, that's why it's the first track, to "get it out of the way." She must have either been obligated or felt obligated to put that awful track on "1989" for whatever reason, probably sentimental or because she recorded it with friends or something saccharine like that.
