Well, 'Dance in the DarkI' is a bigger Madonna rip-off than 'Born This Way,' so I agree with you (and we all know 'Vogue' is 600x a better song than 'Express Noone' so it would have been a far worse backlash). I still like it though because Fernando Garibay is a wonderful producer. Sadly, he brought out all of the Madonna-isms out of her. She should have kept with the 'Alejandro'/'Ace of Base' sound. Oh well, I hope she goes and does that barebones Rick Rubin produced album next.
