Because she promises her rap fans she is fully returning to rap. No more pop songs, those are her words. I already took those pop sounds for two albums, is it bad I don't want Dr. Luke on this album?

Devon has the tea. That GP (Gulity Pleasure) track Nicki will have on TPP will be dedicated to Devon.

Didn't they got enough with Roman Reloaded and besides that, I think the gap between her 'two fanbases' isn't as big as people think. Her pop listeners can easily enjoy songs like Anaconda and a song like Freedom but at the end of the day, it's their choice to be a fan of a RAPPER. If they want pop music they should stan for Katy Perry.
