You said like a "lite Beyonce," someone who has star power, stepped out of a group, crossed over and is likable by many. I'm not saying that Tinashe will become a superstar, but your example was stupid and contradictory. It's not like anyone predicted Rihanna would be one of the biggest pop stars of today before Good Girl Gone Bad.
By lite Beyonce, I mean a pretty urban light skin girl who can "sing" and dance. Not about Tanishe's non-existent starpower. Rihanna actually had some edge to her from the beginning because she had the Bajan sound to set her apart. There is nothing about Tinashe that stands out. She's not even dating anyone famous. Not to mention she is too small, and looks too young and she's singing grown music. I just don't believe her.
Is Bad Blood still your favorite song off the album? Btw the album is godly.
One of! But the album is such a grower! Tracks I felt iffy about in the first listen I am now in love with. My faves right now are "Bad Blood," "I Wish You Would," "This Love," "Clean," and "All You Had to Do Was Stay." It's her best and most cohesive album for sure.

Honestly, I was iffy about This Love and I Wish You Would but they grew on me so much since then (8 hours ago)
Besides Welcome To New York, I think it has a chance of becoming my favorite album of hers. Poor RED.
