Let's be honest here people, this year is being pretty boring.These fights between the judges look so forced and I can't see any of the contestants being successful. Maybe Only The Young and Lauren could have some type of success but I have my doubts.

The Cheryl vs Simon beef was so annoying. I remember last year when they would have some weird bond, she'd give him the eye if he didn't save her act in the bottom two. I completely agree tbh

Sorry he's nothing like Sam, his age for starters immediately puts him in a different market / demographic.

He's being presented the same way Sam was, power ballads basically every week, performed well but nothing exciting and nothing new with each performance. If he gets a record deal I bet my life it will be one cover album full of lacklustre renditions of classic ballads then swiftly dropped after poor sales.
