I don't know if any of you watch American Horror Story - Freakshow, but I want them to perform Applause. It would fit the show & the character of Jessica Lange so well She literally lives for the Applause.

I honestly think they are going to do a Gaga song this season, I suspect it will be Monster or Applause and I honestly hope it's Rock Show, but that's very unlikely

I always thought the problem with her sales that era was the fact it felt like her fanbase left her, though. During TFM / BTW her fanbase felt so huge and had a presence everywhere. Most followed on Twitter, they would trend random **** everyday, everyone knew of 'Little Monsters', etc. Now it just feels like most of them left 'cause you really never hear about her fanbase's impact these days.

When an artist is at their peak and the most successful, it can feel like their stan base is much bigger than it is simply because the GP is supporting them. Most people claim to "stan" Gaga during her TF / TFM days, but they were most likely riding the new successful "it" artist hype and phenomenon that was following Gaga early on in her career.

But I don't agree with her fanbases impact dwelling. I mean, everyone still knows of Little Monsters, we're easily the most recognizable fan base and the fact the GP knows our stan terms of Mother Monster, paws up, etc... and people hailing Gaga as the first to name her stanbase. Also, we've been the most visible in the last year. We were all over the news for attacking Kelly O on Twitter and starting that "feud", YAAAASSSS GAGA meme being everywhere and even V Magazine running an interview with two LMs to see who originally started it, shortly after that even Madonna is hashtagging YAAAASSSS on Instagram. AHS Freakshow and how Elsa calls her freaks her "Monsters" also gave publications referencing us. And now we have the diva news kid doing Applause's choreography and spelling out A-R-T-P-O-P being interviewed everywhere and all over Tumblr. What other fan base is doing that?

So no, Gaga's fanbase's impact is very much visible. And Katy has the most followers on Twitter, yes the GP like her but her stan base is non existent. Would the GP know they're called Katy Cats? No.

I still remember the threads where they predicted which lead single would sell more and people were saying 'Born This Way (single) sold 500k in 3 days. Ofcourse Applause is gonna debut at #1 with 7 days of sales, and outsell Roar first week'.

People expected her to break the digital record.

Tbh, the problem was that Applause sounded like something straight out of 2010. That kind of sound was not relevant during late 2013 and the fact that Applause STILL did well on the charts just goes to show how much power is in Gaga's name!

I know right? I said this after the premiere with the Bowie cover. Applause would be perfect for Elsa, and Applause's visuals are AHS Freakshow down to the prosthetic foot Gaga is carrying like Elsa. I remember Ryan said he picked artists that felt like an outcast or a freak in society, and I'm sorry but that fits Gaga more-so than Lana.

I wouldn't blame anybody that jumped ship after the ARTPOP era cause it was truly a mess. Aside from the chart performance of the era in general, the era itself was a mess.

Those that jump ship for whatever reason, are not exactly worthy to mention. The GP that left her beacuse of BTW are, though. The album completely scared people off.

They did come back a little during ARTPOP but the era's life was cut short by horrible treatment and the GP didn't really get the chance. DWUW was the IT song of the era, sadly we all know what happened.

Now, with C2C, hate it or love it, the GP will learn few things - the gay theme that scared us is gone, she really can be easy on the eyes, she's not that weird.

All she has to do with her next era is to make music that the GP will not be ashamed of to blast out in public. That is unless she wants to be on top again, or at least be in top 3 .

Having said that I still think ARTPOP is her best album, simply beacuse it's enjoyable from start to finish. And all the silly immature ATRL trolls who are trying to drag it beacuse it sold 2 M WW are just not worthy to mention. Like, really.

And shouldn't that be the most important thing? I know I may be in minority here, I'm actually sure I am, but I don't give a flying **** about how she looks like or what she wears. I really don't. I think she's an amazing performer, even better singer that is able to sing jazz, pop, dance and rap. I mean, what else do people want? And I'm not some freakin RADIOARTPOP member, I loathe them. This is just my vision of how stanning should look like.

Stanning for me means that you care about the artist beyond music, watch the interviews, performances, follow their projects etc I care about her fashion, in a much smaller margin of course, but it's still something that interests me.
