This reminded me of how Mary J Blige's version of ''Each Tear'' with Tiziano should have been the lead single WW instead of being a second/third? single with Jay Sean, who's way more irrelevant than Tiziano
Why is Taylor getting such good reviews with basically PRISM 2.0? It begs the question what if critics have a personal bias against Katy and don't concentrate on just the music when reviewing her?

Each Tear is a cheesy mess though, a guaranteed flop. Tiziano's rap verse makes it listenable.

tayloose has always been a critics darling, for whatever reason. maybe she slept with them?
you're missing the point though - carrie fans don't have to hold on to her sales because she has a ton of other things going for her, unlike taylor.
Taking care of all her chickens, horses, pigs and other farm animals in whatever redneck town she lives in doesn't count as "other things going on for her".

"The really striking thing about 1989 is how completely Taylor Swift dominates the album: Martin, Kurstin et al make umpteen highly polished pop records every year, but they’re seldom as clever or as sharp or as perfectly attuned as this, which suggests those qualities were brought to the project by the woman whose name is on the cover." - The Guardian
