I just watched VHS Viral and it was so horrible, there was only one god segment and that was pretty **** already. The second one remains the best.

Ugh I had high hopes for this I loved the second, Is Viral at least better than the first(which I didn't like)?

No, even the first one is better. The worst segment of the first one is still miles better than the best segment from Viral.

Also, I finally finished The ABCs of Death 2 and I have to say that it's better than the first, I found myself disliking only a few and the final short is so good.

YES! Triangle was great. I loved the twists
Trick 'r Treat was good, and I liked Mandy Lane alright as well. As for modern horrors:

Excision
Cabin in the Woods
American Mary
Sinister (NOT half-assed like Conjuring/PA, both of which I hated. Sinister was actually written by a critic who downright loathed PA)
Maniac Remake
The Collector/Collection

Those all slayed Bloodwork (the one with Travis Van Winkle & Tricia Hefler) was enjoyable too, though not amazing. If we can pull from a little further baack: The Descent, Repo! The Genetic Opera (aka where my username is from), Sunshine, From Within, Dread, Final Destination, and Borderland were all great. Hostel 1 is criminally underrated as well, I loved the lead guy (and he's seriously hot)

Wrong Turn 6 is so awful in every way.
Terrible acting(which is okay for a trashy splatter movie I guess) and really boring overall.
But most importantly the kills were just so lame especially after the last two movies were really creative in that aspect.At least the storyline was kind of interesting and relatively unpredictable.

Just watched You're next. It's a great thrill ride and has everything you want from a horror slasher film. Listening to the directors commentary he's pretty honest about his influences and where he stole all his tricks.

Loved that Barbara Crampton from Re-animator/From beyond films played the mother. She still can't act, bless her. But its nice she got some work after all these years in obscurity. Actually, just about all the acting was pretty amateur but you expect that from low budget horrors as they just rope in their friends to play half the roles. I also felt the gradual inclusion of humor was a bit awkward.

But its 8/10.

Wait.. you like the 5th one? I haven't seen 6 yet, but surely it can't be worse than 5? I mean, those bitches were walking in the city on Halloween between people and they get locked up in jail? Those things should be in the woods, like the first 3 movies. It makes it much better

Just came back from Annabelle, I really loved it! It scared the living **** outta me at some points. A friend of mine screamed her lungs out, I couldn't stop laughing.

I had to shut some girls the hell up at some point as they were talking during the movie and shouted everything what happened on the screen

You should try watching it again. Now that you kinda know what's going on, it should be easier to figure it out the second time through. I really liked it.

There's a twist in the film and I went to read a synopsis on it to make sure I got it right and read a synopsis for the original film. **** had me thinking the twist was Sydney Poitier was the Asian chick for two seconds

I loved Cabin In the Woods. I live for meta-horror (my favorites are the Scream films).

The only other films I've seen are Final Destination (they're campy fun), The Collector (not a big fan of that one) and Hostel. I only liked it for the lead guy I hate when films use gore to incite fear instead of utilizing whatever caused that injury to incite fear. The Evil Dead, Saw and movies like that are my least favorite ever.

I saw Anabelle and you all really needed to lower yall expectation. I was expecting a Devil's Due sized mess. Sure it wasn't as good or close to the slayage that was The Conjuring but some parts were actually really scary. Such as the elevator part and the crib scene . It didn't go all out like the conjuring such as when that little bitch got ha weave snatched and dragged across the room but it was good enough and i'm satisfied.
