Man oh man. I always defend Bey but I just watched the comparison video and they copied that video exactly move from move - or maybe that was the point

Anywho, glad Bey and team were a bit more original with ST. I always said her team lacked original thought. It's cool to reference and pay homage, but it's like they got carried away.

I agree - for the first time since the "DIL" era - no songwriting or visual controversy appeared. It was refreshing. Lol

I think the Countdown thing was blown way out of proportion. I don't think she was trying to pass the work off as her own at all. If she was, she would have been way more sneaky about it. This was CLEARLY a homage, the only reason why people went so hard on her is because she's 1: a huge A-list star and 2: the piece wasn't famous/well-known

Ehhh... I just watched the comparison video and it was copied exactly. I dont think her team had ill intent - but they should have contacted the choreographer in advanced.

That lady didn't choreograph that though. That's why she dropped her claimed. The choreography came from elsewhere. What Bey copied was the video.

WHich in anycase, I don't see why. It doesn't even fit the theme of the song. Countdown had so much potential...
