I never really get this whole 'oh the album is too long'. I enjoy them, particularly when they are done well.
Who even wants a well perfected, concise but sweet album? It's just...boring. I like LPs that step out of their comfort zone. Its an LP they've probably worked on for over a year, maybe longer.
Ten tracks is imo too small to really get that person as an artist. Then again, music is all about subjectivity.
