I keep pointing out that her label,is mainly responsible for how her music career is now ,look at the Prince situation, why not approve the track that Prince wants?rather they've chosen other tracks that I am sure might be sub par, compared to Prince's preferred choice.secondly why is her label so stingy with new music, when the album is supposed to be out by "January "(of all months).Sometimes I feel someone in her label is sabotaging her.
Rita is smart for doing things to keep her name out there, otherwise she would have faded into oblivion by now.

I do feel the same way yeah, Jay-z needs to fire this person's ass away asap if it's true!

I do not know about you, but I'm tired of seeing pictures of her walking with ridiculous clothes on the street, advertising campaigns and whatever. Successful artists in all areas of entertainment, which are Rita is inspired, built his entire empire around a career focused on music. Rita on the other hand is doing all parallel and not prioritizing the only thing that will carry your name forward for the next few years, which is your music career, you admit it or not, this is reality.
I have all the photo shoots she did in her career saved on my computer. Since last year, more than 100, I'm not exaggerating. This made her to be more known? More relevant? This is relative. She is successful in the UK and Australia, but in other countries it is far from relevant. Last year Rita came here in Brazil and did an advertising campaign for the largest store of clothing retailer here in the country, with one commercial on TV passing every 15 minutes and advertisements flooding the Youtube. The campaign was the most successful in the history of public company. But that changed her popularity here? No, people do not even know who is Rita Ora. And oh, the campaign had her songs playing on every ad.
Want more a practical example? Let's stop creating threads here on ATRL about Rita and her fashion stuff. People will simply forget about her here. Even "Black Widow" isn't returning positively to the musical career of Rita.
The fact is that these things related to fashion only give Rita a momentary attention. Indeed something is happening in her relationship with the label and she is using all these works with fashion to divert everyone's attention to "new projects" while her music actually remained in the background. Remember an interview she gave to BreatheHeavy.com:
Quote:
She says of her view on what success means in the music industry: "I think it's the power of releasing what you want to release."
I was not sure what to make of que, but I assume she's dealing with a record label struggle regarding her album.

But if she were a little more clear with fans about what's really going on with their relationship with the label, would be more understandable. But instead, she prefers to lie and say things like "I never said that my album would be released this year," when we know she said in several interviews that the album would be released in this year.
And meanwhile I see Rita increasingly losing stans. I wonder how long the UK will be on her side. I wonder also how long I'll be supporting her.

For her first album she recorded like 100 songs, and in the end her label put her to sing Rihanna rejects. Bonnie McKee said that HWD was supposed to be a Rihanna track, the songwriter of Shine Ya Light and Drake said the same about SYL and R.I.P.
I know that one Uneasy music video was recorded and scrapped. Angel Haze, Azealia Banks, Kanye West and Frankmusik had songs recorded with Rita. She is in this industry for more than 5 years, imagine how many songs she recorded?
I want them to leak someday.

The stans will return once she releases her next single.you do not reply expect Rita to make her problem with her label public, unless you want her to become labeless like Azelia banks.I rather Rita tries her hand on other things than to see her fade into oblivion like artist like Karmin,Azelia banks etc.
We cannot measure the impact of BW on Rita's career until she releases her next single, plus the fact that IWNLYD have sold so much without a live TV performance should tell you that the UK will always be on Rita's side.
There is no need to panic everything will be alright.

Just listened to ''Ora'' for the fist time in months. Forgot how much I love this album
I have a few questions tho... when is her second album being released? Is IWNLYD still her current single? When will she release a new single? Is the album even coming out this year? Do we even know anything about album 2 at this point?
So many questions.

Her label does not care about her. See what Calvin did to her and they are under the same management. Rihanna is going to be a ROC Nation artist after her upcoming album so it's going to get worst for Rita who is already an after thought. She is too lazy. She is famous enough to push herself without label support or find another label who is willing to get behind her. BUT she needs an image overhaul first.
She really needs to leave ROC Nation and get serious about her music career because her big bro Jay couldn't give a damn about her. Most ppl like me do not give a damn about her but she is everywhere. They need to fix that.

Most of what you posted is BS.compared to other artist on roc nation Rita has it good,is just that Rita has not gotten a song that could connect with the gp in the US.You do realise that she is under contract with roc?and as such she can't just walk out like that.As for her image, she's fine she doesn't need any image overhaul, her numerous fashion deals is a pointer to the fact that she doesn't need that.
Her situation with calvin,is understandable because Calvin is the bigger artist and as such it's only natural that they side with him .your claim that Jay z doesn't care about her is unfounded, the fact that he is on her second album proves otherwise.
Finally nobody gives a **** about your hating ass,you don't care and yet you are her in her base giving unsolicited advice laced with shade.

Whatever make you feel better. You're clearly getting all mad and not understanding what I'm saying. How does she have it good on Roc nation when no one cares about her music and the music she gets is always Rihanna left overs? If they were siding with Calvin is that not an example of them not giving a sh** about her? I'm speaking the truth, Rita will never amount to anything unless she leaves Roc who has one of the biggest cash cows in the industry now. If you don't think Rita needs a image overhaul then you are not her fan. I gave good advice, I think the Rihanna comparison is hurting her career and they being on the same label does not help plus she needs to find a label that has her interest at heart and will push her musically, the fashion deals and the other projects on the side are not helping her popularity. She gets all those deals and still no one cares.

You are still talking BS,what happened between her and calvin was clearly personal and there was not much they could have done, the fact that he is bigger than her didn't help matters, the Rih comparisms are do 2012,the only people that still cling to that are haters and petty people,so image wise Rita is her own person
You must be a bad business man to think that Jay z would put all his eggs in one basket(Rihanna)as long as two of them continue to bring in the cash,I don't see the problem,it's not like the two of them release music the same time anyway,so I don't see how Rih's arrival affects Rita. All Rita needs is a hit in the US,as she is doing good in Ocenia, and the UK.Roc nation may not be the perfect label and I doubt even Rih will fare better there, whether or not Rita will become sucessfull under that label remains to be seen.
In my opinion Jay z does not just hop on just anyone's album, will not spend label money recording an album with top notch producers and writers for an " after thought".
