The Hive trying their hardest but Britney leading 4:1
You're delusional if you think the Hive is concerned about the poll results. This is all back and forth discussion going on. No one trying to convince anyone to vote otherwise. People will vote how they see fit.
It doesn't matter about chart peaks. Britney did end up selling 9m albums ww, and that's because of the huge success of "Toxic." Britney's average tour gross was also higher than Beyonce's, albeit not by a lot, but it still was. I also wasn't talking about "Blackout," I was talking about her "GH: My Prerogative" album, which she released late 2004.
You said In The Zone was bigger than Dangerously in Love in every country but the US. The charts say differently, and so does the sales. I would hope Britney could still push 9M worldwide as she was still popular then. You can't compare a 9-date tour to a 54-date tour, it's very clear which will gross more.
I'm perfectly calm actually I just said more eloquently what I've been explaining for the last two posts since people can't seem to understand.
In short: Catalog sales aren't the be-all description of a song's iconicness and memorability like the reaching Haribo is doing. You have to take into consideration things such as the song involved and the current market.
Again with the eye rolls.
And I agree that they aren't the end all be all when it comes to representing a songs standing or iconicness. But they are a good indicator of a lot though.
And the Hive doesn't give a damn about this poll, I'v not even voted, because we know that there is a world outside of ATRL, and it's call reality. We would love to share it with you all.
