Lord, I don't envy you. Reading is one of my passions, but I can not stand being forced to read something; I prefer to read what I want, when I want. Novel studies were always a pain in the ass. I can't even imagine having to read THREE books and then writing up a comparative essay on 'em. Especially only two months into school.

Oh, yeah, I remember you telling me about that before. Did you read those three books over the summer, because I feel like I remember you mentioning something about reading to prepare for school? or did you read all three within the span of 1 months?

It's a persuasive essay about vitality vs. weight-centred approaches to dieting and exercise. Vitality seems like the obvious (and easiest) choice to be for, but there's a shocking amount of guys in my class who genuinely believe that weight-centred is a better approach.

Quick note for reference: vitality living is when you eat appropriately according to the NFG and incorporate active activities, such as walking and gardening, into your everyday life. While the weight-centred approach is basically intense workouts and restrictive workouts with the intent to lose as much weight as possible. Yes, we've actually spent a month studying this. I enrolled in this course to play dodgeball and rugby, not study these 60+ fitness routines.

These three were this month. The other four books I talked about were a summer project for the class. I moved up into this class after school started, so I did that, too (turning it in tomorrow, as well). So seven books in one month.

Not your teacher making y'all actually do work. My health class requirement here was basically a censored sex ed with an obligatory "Don't do drugs" day. Who has the time for weight-centered dieting though?
