No, Haute Couture is requested and they usually only lend out the runway samples if done so. Learn the difference. What they send out are the accessories, the bags, shoes and leather goods. That's usually what sells and gives houses their profits. Beyonce is not instagraming what she gets for free just to do so a la other pop tarts.
Unless Ty or any stylist talks to them they won't lend her or anyone sample couture pieces. Yeah it could be easier to get them because she's Beyonce but they won't send them just because. In the past 2 months all she has promoted in her IG is Topshop and flash tattoos. (Yamamoto, Chanel and Celine were part of the Roitfeld shoot and Zuhair Murad shots because of the VMAs).
Plus she's been a loyal customer for years when it comes to RTW, Jay has bought out whole Chanel and Lanvin collections for her, she's bought 3 out of the last 16 pieces Alexander McQueen ever made, she bought out tons of Lanvin and Balmain pieces. I love that about her. She has a nice balance of exposure and purchases, lately though it's all been H&M.
Eveyone was jealous of her when they saw her with THAT Balmain SS09 jacket out for a causal dinner. It opened the show, it was the centerpiece and high point of PFW as well as Decarnin's Balmain high point. and she carried it like it was nothing. On top it was an homage to MJ and she snatched it then he died, I'm glad she didn't just wear it once and got it over with, she used it as a performance piece and a couple of other times.
These are the pieces I want Beyonce to keep on wearing. Not just because they are trendy and for the sake of it but because they have a value, the highlight of Balmain's return before it went mainstream, one of 3 gold leggings by Nicholas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga, Dolce and Gabbana's metallic dresses from SS07 and their 23'' metal belts (seen at the 2007 BET awards and the 2013 Pretty Hurts video), 1 of 24 LV's tribute bags, the last pieces of McQueen, the revival of Pucci by Dundas, the starting points of Pugh.....
So far she has worn one of the first pieces by Nicholas Ghesquiere for Louis Vuitton ever, but it was in editorial, not on her own terms. I'm glad Aterlier Versace/Donatella made several custom pieces for her on this recent tour.
