I seriously don't stand the hype over this girl. Yes, her voice on "Don't Forget" is pretty but the way she uses it just annoys the crap out of me. She sounds like a bad imitation of Hayley Williams in that she seems like she wants to "rock out" but can't because she doesn't have good enough control over her voice. She screams all over this song and she takes a huge breath in after every line.

Thanks for that I was kind of afraid of the response I'd get back from my comment. I have nothing against the girl she seems sweet and all and I definitely think she loves music it just seems that Disney is trying to sooo hard to sell her as the "edgy" Miley alternative and it's not really fair to her. She's said many times she doesn't want to be the "new Miley" and unlike Selena I actually believe her. Miley's overnight success was crazy and it's not fair for people to set Demi to the same standards. She should be able to just be herself, but that's just how life is.
