WTF. 'Especially the latter two'? To release an album in November is a lot better than in December, and on Beyoncé's case, she had the advatange of also getting Thanksgiving sales... So yeah, yeah, the playing field is really unbalanced.
As for Mariah, TEOM also came out around April, and it still sold a lot more than her latest, although with a smaller first week sales. Madonna's COAD came out in November and it didn't sell much more than HC.
I won't even mention the key card called promotion, but what I'm trying to say is it may matter to release an album around the end or the beginning of the year if you're a nobody - But it doesn't make that much of a difference to release an album in November/December or March/April when you're a big name as these four singers. You sell what you sell, simple as that, there's no rule that apply perfectly.
P.S.: LMFAO at the 'Circus declined in sales'. Just goes to show your true colors and intentions, LOL.
