Something needs to happen. The fact that only like two albums are shaping up to go Platinum this year (Taylor and 1D's and maybe someone else's) is extremely alarming.
The industry needs to change because people are not as excited about music as they were in earlier decades.
This def is gunna take hard work, but i'm excited to see this unfold. and I'm glad Adam and Larry are involved cuz this means Miley's gunna benefit from this
Joining forces ain't gonna do ****, unless they build better experiences for consumers. No matter what, the industry will NEVER be the same. Tech/innovation is going to drive where it's going next. Which is why I think Troy Carter (Atom Factory) has the right idea.
Guy Oseary was behind that Apple/U2 downloading fiasco and the MDNA album/ticketing bundling (which dropped mdna 2nd week album sales to a record low).
