Not surprised that the song was cut though. It was never officially confirmed by anyone. Just the songwriter's opinion that it would.

But another thought came to me. WHAT IF One Chance to Dance was actually re-titled?
Oh and those writing credits were to make sure the song was marked as the label's property.
There are a lot of songs and demos who get posted to that ASCPP site but never make it to published album.

Lmao naughty boy said he spoke to Simon and said he really liked it and that they liked the song and it was in talks to be the lead single. idk if its renamed but Naughtyboy has been tweeting a lot of shade recently.

Naught Boy was making a stink on Twitter around the time of SMG's release, wasn't he? I thought he was just annoyed One Chance To Dance wasn't the lead, but maybe now we know why... I really wanna hear it though From the sound of it though, it might not have fit with the rest of the album very well? Also NB shouldn't have been running his mouth before tbh, this happens a lot with producers and they always end up looking dumb even if it's not their fault

Bonus track titles sound like flops.

But we have no way of knowing how they will do the promo singles this time. The way they put out Fireproof was already totally different for them.
