I expected smthg bigger tbh, 370k is lukewarm, esp when you already have preorders to back up, unless preorders are really low

Approximately 150k preorders as estimated by Kworb, and that was on Tuesday morning - will be higher now. The most pre-ordered album in history is 180k from 1D's last record, so it's very likely she'll break that record. The remaining 220k or so is actually still very robust for the current digital market, noting that another song this year has debuted at #1 on HDS with just 184k and the major collab "Bang Bang" sold only 230k in its full first week and both of those were full singles.

Only 372k?

Only? Gurl, second biggest promo single debut ever. Behind only herself, in the peak year of digital sales, with a far more pop-oriented track that went on to become her biggest hit.

It's not fair I want it.

I thought pre-order songs don't chart in the UK though, so I don't see the point?

That might be why she's not releasing it there right now.

Wait, did the tracklist really leaked?

Way to leak things, guys. Proud of you. Taylor would be too.

Nobody cares, and Lord probably has a life and isn't concerned about a version of the tracklist 'leaking' one week before release especially when She gave us 9/13 of those titles Herself and we're just guessing at the order...? Not like we're going around leaking Her unreleased demos or something. The tracklist hasn't even caught on, nobody outside of ATRL is talking about it. Like, it isn't serious. Get some fresh air.

ironically, by complaining about it you're confirming it.

There has to be something more serious for you to devote your care and energy towards. It's a ****ing tracklist. Literally none cares. Stop acting self-righteous.

Currently the biggest male solo act in the UK, his last album sold 2 million here. Dunno about his WW stats but he's massive here in the UK.

Thanx. I would be upset if it was Boy George or George Michael. I guess he never made it big on this side of the pond.

Never heard of him here.

[Great Username]

Olly Murs is massive here? Learn something new every day. He has like 3 songs I know. He's considered a joke and none really uses him. He's like a Robbie Williams copycat but even more local and a lot less cared for.

[Cheers]

Wasn't Olly voted "most desperate for attention"

[Ashrock]

Lets make a survey just let it flop if you dont want to vote

Yay for the tracklist leak

I guess this would be open to your interpretation. I found it to be her most mature effort to be honest. There was no overt call-outs or "you did this and broke my heart." It was simply more fun and the songs that were reflective, looked back at things for what they were and didn't point any fingers. If you find upbeat, fun, pop to be a signifier of "immaturity" than you might disagree. But I felt like this album was a mix of everything--it managed to fuse catchy pop with good lyrics and a more mature outlook on love.

You have the best answers.
