Gold is perfectly acceptable and I'd be happy if the rest of her career albums scanned Gold. Platinum is just a far cry for someone like her nowadays.
Anyways, Britney's team needs to simply do some tactics. One would be prolonged iTunes discounts, a Target deal and bundling Vegas tickets with the album. Everyone has done that and it's not desperate, despite what many may claim, it's simply a way to sell an album more efficiently.

I agree with Ozzy about 1 thing, I am tired of hearing all of the Ifs. Chances of her doing even Circus sized promo is a pipe dream at best. She will continue to remain in vegas because she gets paid more and has to work less and can hang with her kids more. She still has chance for radio hits. She got her biggest radio hits when she was turning 30 looking like 50 and dancing like 90. There is being realistic and there is being downright pessimistic. Bad expectations and dragging your fave isn't an equivalent to being non delusional and realistic. Step up

I was listening to Circus whole day and it overtook ITZ on my last.fm How the **** can someone pass on "Telephone" yet pick trash like "Quicksand"? ****ing idiots...
And it baffles me since her song were always so big or at least felt big. They usually relied mostly on pop radio and didn't have much appeal on other stations I guess
Luckily she didn't need radio. We had TRL, Walkmans, everyone had her albums, and we had cassettes to pirate her songs on that rare occasion they came out on the radio.
She's not emaciated or too skinny.
