Maybe we could ask him to see how much the sales would be if you strip out the first day. Presumably most sales the first day were pre-orders, and almost none after that should be pre-orders.
Taylor ties a few others for most solo 4+ week Hot Digital Songs #1s, with 2 songs each. Nobody has 2 solo 5-week HDS #1s.
For songs with 3 HDS #1 runs, the largest # of weeks being blocked from the top: Fergalicious 5 (3 weeks, 2 weeks), Gangnam Style/Shake it Off 4 (3 weeks, 1 week for Gangnam; 2 weeks, 2 weeks for SIO).
And just for an addendum, the longest break for songs in between 2 HDS #1 runs: I Knew You Were Trouble 10 weeks, Say Something/I Gotta Feeling 4 weeks.
