If it is true, then she absolutely deserves justice. But the basis tenet of the American legal system is "innocent until proven guilty". And that's what Luke is, innocent until proven otherwise, which Kesha has yet to do. You really do need to take your stan goggles off, she's trying to potentially ruin a man's life. Let's make sure she's telling the truth first. If she is, then it will come out and she will get her much deserved justice.

I just don't want Katy to side with Luke publically because it would ruin her career for supporting a rapist (pretty much thats what he is if true)

You REALLY don't know much about the US justice system, do you? Rapists get off the hook all the time. Even if he's acquitted it doesn't mean he didn't do it.

Until evidence is put out all of this is she said he said. I wont paint him as a villian just yet. She was not held at gun point she clearly put aside her self worth because she cared more about getting famous.

Secondly its way to rehearsed that all of sudden she gets new management and cant get out of her contract that they pull the he abused her card.

Rapist are taken to criminal court, not just civil. Shes not trying to take him to be a convicted felon...shes just suing him for her record contract. THAT is where the skepticism comes in.

You could not have lied, because you made no refutable statement. You said nothing. All you said is that you think something about this all is "absolutely disgusting" (seeing as you don't explicitly mention what it is you're talking about).

Contextually within your comment however, it could be argued that you imply that Kesha IS in fact lying, which leads me to assume that you think it's "absolutely disgusting" of her to lie like this.

I have read the entire complaint for damages filed by her through her lawyer (linked here) to gain better understanding of the severity and details of the case (as anyone should do before passing judgement as you clearly did).

There are some interesting passages there. You tell me if all of this can possibly be no more than lies:

On another occasion, after forcing Ms. Sebert to drink with him, Dr. Luke instructed Ms. Sebert to take what he described as "sober pills" in order for her to sober up. Ms. Sebert took the pills and woke up the following afternoon, naked in Dr. Luke's bed, sore and sick, with no memory of how she got there. Ms. Sebert immediately called her mother and made a "fresh complaint", telling her that she was naked in Dr. Luke's hotel room, she did not know where her clothes were, that Dr. Luke had raped her, and that she needed to go to the emergency room. Ms. Sebert later learned that the "sober pills" Dr. Luke had given her were actually a form of gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), more commonly known as the date rape drug, allowing him to bring Ms. Sebert back to his hotel room alone and rape her while she was unconscious.

Dr. Luke consistently bombarded Ms. Sebert with insults such as:

(a) "You are not that pretty, you are not that talented, you are just lucky to have me."
(b) "I don't give a **** if you don't want to sing it, get in there and do it."
(c) "Did you go party last night because you sound like ****."
(d) "Go finish the song so I can buy a yacht."
(e) "There are a million other girls out there like you."
(f) "You are nothing without me."

At one point, during a meeting at his Malibu house, Dr. Luke attacked Ms. Sebert with these threats, screaming and violently thrashing his arms at her. He physically backed Ms. Sebert into a corner, where she curled up into a ball, crying and fearing for her life. In a firghtened and frantic attempt to escape, Ms Sebert fled Dr. Luke's house barefoot, ran down Pacific Coast Highway over rocks and broken glass on the ground, climbed up the nearby mountains, and hid there so Dr. Luke would not be able to find her.

All a little too in-depth and specific to be lies, don't you think?

The only thing disgusting here is your uninformed prejudice. We can't say out of the gate that he's guilty of course, especially guilty of all charges, but this is very detailed and very suspicious if you ask me.

I think they were both messing around as friends which is why he was able to say such cruel comments towards her because of the bond they had. I don't think it was meant to be hurtful and even if it was then he might have thought that their trust wouldn't let his comments come between their relationship and kesha might have even played along. Kesha saw an opportunity and she took it. I don't know if he did all those things to her but if he did then I lost all respect for him, but I also think Keshas playing a victim here. She has a voice you know and she's not afraid to use it as we have seen with her in the past.

You do realize there are other ways of coercion than just physical, right? She's alleging he also emotionally abused her, which long-term, can definitely negatively affect one's own self-confidence and trust in one's own ability to make decisions, making her more pliable to his will.

Plus, in her suit, she claims that he gave her "get sober pills" that were in fact GHB, meaning that if true, he not only lied about what he was giving her, but that he was giving it to her in an already compromised state, being that she was apparently already drunk.

And moreover, building a rape case is not as fast and easy as it looks on TV, especially when it goes back as far as ten years. There are not only emotional barriers (e.g. confronting what happened yourself and allowing yourself to talk about what happened) but for gathering evidence and substantiating background. She's been out of rehab for about six months, I believe. It's not that much of a stretch.
