You made your opinion, morals and beliefs known in a public post on a public forum, you should understand that once you do that they are open to be challenged. By the sound of it we both say what we want, I believe that is the point of a discussion on a forum. As you clearly mentioned, I felt a certain way and gave my opinion (as did you). So by clear definition we were both being opinionated. i started stanning for nicki because she's a versatile artist that isn't afraid to do hardcore hip hop & straight up dance pop. i think if she just went and stuck with 1 genre I wouldn't hang around for a lot longer tbh. one of my favorite things about her right now actually is that she isn't embarrassed by Starships or her move into doing EDM during the last era because let's be real a lot of other artists would go "what was i thinking" a little while afterwards.

she has rap fans and pop fans and she knows that so I think she knows better than to just completely go hip hop or to completely go pop.

If I ever come across aggressive or mean, It's usually through just simple misinterpretation. Most of the time I'm actually trying to just engage and be nice. It often backfires it seems.

Define all rap. Because PNP is 85% singing, and Anaconda is 85% sample and the rest are weak lyrics. PNP is pop and R&B while Anaconda is just hip-hop to me. Some of us say rap and some say hip-hop when they're actually not the same.

That's where the confusion comes from.

I mean rap as in the genre. Singing and sampling aren't genres. PNP, LAN, and Anaconda are actually are rap, which is a step in the right direction. But she needs stronger raps and better material.

Rap isn't a genre though. It's something you do just like singing.

Hip-Hop and Pop are genres. (Although some say Pop just means popular) I'm brining this back to the discussion earlier. We want a HIP-HOP album not a full RAP album. Saying you want a full rap album means no singing and just straight up spitting the whole album. While as wanting a hip-hop album, you can still sing on it.
