Just because Madonna doesn't like you (Gaga) doesn't mean she doesn't have a soul. Or does she suspect Madonna sold her soul because she thinks that the normal successful Hot 100 career is supposed to only span 4-5 years, like her own?

I really do think the Madonna/Gaga issue started around the time Gaga christened everybody but Madonna as her inspiration on stage after accepting an award. This was around the time she was being called out for copying a lot of Madonna. My only question is was it also around the time Laurie pretty much said she was definitely molding Gaga in Madonna's image. I did a double take at Gaga mentioning everybody but Madonna at that awards show and at that point I was not in one of my "I love Madonna so much" stages. That probably set Madonna off about her.

but thats the thing. gaga is straight up lying. madonna always supports new artists. including gaga before she stole a bit too much from her without giving credit (see: the grammys)

and tbh gaga has never embraced anyone less established than herself. Apart from people she knew before she was famous who are utterly dreadful with no chance of ever being successful (Lady Starlight, Semi Precious Weapons.) she also tried to sabotage Natalia kills, xtina, and porcelain black.
