I was on a date, and my date and I stopped at the mall for a bit, a mall where predominantly black people shop, and some guy said loudly to another guy when I walked into the GameStop "niqqa, why he look like your chauffeur?"

My date was white.

I don't know if he was referring to the fact that my date was white and I was holding his coat, or if he meant "chaperone" (but used the wrong word like an ignant fool) and was saying I looked too young (and too black) for him.

The only one, out of these, that I know quite a bit of is Brandy. Not sure if you like current R&B or 90's, but if you like more current then listen to Two Eleven or Afrodisiac - these are two of my favorites at least. For a more eclectic sound, Human; and it's still current it just has a different vibe to it. Or if you like 90's then her debut is dope followed by Never Say Never. She has another album (Full Moon) but I really don't care for that outside of "What About Us?", lol.

Janet's second best would be AFY
As for TLC, I'd probably say between Fanmail and CSC.
Both albums are so different sonically so it's kind of hard to choose.

Listen to Janet- Number Ones and see which songs you like the most. The second disc is going to be more modern if you're looking for that. However I LOVE Control, Nasty, and Rhythm Nation.

Ashanti: I don't know her, but I here her earlier stuff is the best.
Mary: Never really used her either outside of a few songs here and there
