Far from it. Let's look at TVXQ's lawsuit
“Kim JunSu, Kim JaeJoong and Park YooChun has been following SM’s instruments from the beginning of 2004 till now, going back and forth promoting in Korea, Japan, China etc, and in a year except for 1 week they get only 3-4 hours of sleep a day to do our schedule.”
The members did not receive the right treatment even from SM. Without getting any contract fees, the initial contract was that if their album sells more than 500K copies, each member will get about 10 million KRW (~$8,000 USD) during the next album release. If they sell less than 500K copies of album, they will get nothing.”
Now I can only imagine EXO's

Sept, you're a mess for implying that Chinese idols are the only ones who file lawsuits. And if that even is statistically true, then more power to them. KARA aren't Chinese and they weren't playing filing a lawsuit against DSP. Neither were Shinwa, or HOT... And if you want to talk statistics, then please tell me why the majority of these cases are SM related? SM stans seriously would stand by them for anything, like, open you eyes
PS - more info was released
So as I thought, he's probably sick, but that's a coverup for the main reasons, like him being treated as a caged animal. Where have we heard this before? Hmmm...

the exaggeration
You have to be successful enough to file your lawsuit tbh, where them nugu group members even have the money to hire a lawyer?
Famous kids always think high of themselves and want what they want, leads to the conflict with the company
Furthermore, in a big group like 10 or 11 members, fair treatment is incapable, conflicts tend to happen more often
what i say is Hangeng did pay a (bad) way for Chinese members in SM. They will think like "oh Hangeng did it, so why can't i?", Kris and Luhan's cases prove it all, and it's a really bad thing. SM needs to do sth to stop it.

They're not going to throw away EXO-K like that.
M might be tattered and torn, but K still has a future.

Well the sleeping part was their statement. Ofc they'd testify against SM
About the album sales part, all the contracts in Korea was fixed to follow the standard Korean contract, soon after the JYJ/TVXQ scandal
EXO's contract is WAY better than early-day TVXQ's don't even try

There are tons of lawsuits from Nugu groups against their company. The reason you don't hear about them is because they are a nugu group and half of them y'all don't give a **** about so why would you know. So you can try again. Tried of your rightwing pro SM proganda when they are in the wrong.

Oh and reading up on TVXQ's lawsuit, I found something interesting.. I might have this completely wrong, as it's not very clear, but it seems [the soon to be] JYJ invested in a Chinese makeup company (about 100k). When they filed the lawsuit, SM used it against them. They used the media to say that it interfered with their activities. Sound familiar?
Quote:
The investment in makeup company does not have any relation to entertainment activities and does not have any relation to the applied provisional disposition. The nature of this incident is the contract.
-SM stated that the disposition was submitted due to the investment but the members’ investments in the makeup company do not have anything to do with the provisional disposition. The makeup company SM discussed planned to export to China, and the three members invested as stockholders, having no relation with their entertainment activities. Just by common sense, it does not make sense that the members would give up all their efforts and results as DBSK in order to invest $100,000 to the company. The core of the problems presented by the members is contract injustice, and SM’s attempts to blur the true problems by bring up the investments must stop now.

SM has released their first official statement:
Quote:
Our agency has received Luhan’s lawsuit on Friday through our corporate law firm.
We are shocked because the lawsuit was suddenly filed while we were in the process of negotiating his future schedules and activities after he expressed his wishes to focus more on his individual activities in China more than group activities, as well as matters concerning his health.
As it was with Kris’s case, when a lawsuit is filed for no actual reason by using the same pattern and lawyers after a gaining a lot of popularity as a star through group activities, we see this as one prioritizing one’s self and ignoring the understanding of the contract with the agency as well as everyone involved in the contracts and the activities with the group. We believe there is someone behind the scenes who is pulling the strings.
Regarding these kinds of situations, the agency plans to actively respond to it with our partners overseas including those in China as well as legal experts.
EXO’s future activities will also proceed on as scheduled.

Mess @ them acting shocked, when fans knew it was happening...

then stop saying "hy the majority of these cases are SM related" duh
The Korean entertainment industry is a robotic industry in a whole
It's not like SM is a slavery company, it's almost the same for every companies, or even worse in smaller companies. Like SECRET, they have to live in the basement with no sunlight, and they're also not allowed to use their cellphones did they fight for it? did they file a lawsuit against the company?
This industry is in fact a hard-working industry, you have to expect it when you join it in the first place. If you can't cope with this industry then get out, don't backstab or pour all the faults on your company

Why fudge is he talking about unfair distribution of pay when he probably get's the most in Exo M
I agree, Luhan only decided to do it now because Jessica's leaving didn't leave her crushed and penniless
I don't get why he would leave, he would obviously make more money in exo but whatever
