It doesn't really matter, the "classics" thing, anymore. They've chosen BEP, Madonna, Beyonce and Bruno the last few years because they were pop culture in the moment of the shows and in this day and age of digital, streaming, Twitter ratings, etc. they benefit more approaching young, viable stars versus oldies with classics.
Definitions vary on what a classic is, but does it really matter when you're Katy and like ~50 million people have bought your records in the last 4 years - US alone? She has the setlist, classics or not.
